In 2025, Třeboň once again confirms its reputation as the cultural heart of South Bohemia, offering a vibrant program of events for all ages. The spring season will begin with the Amaryllis Flower Exhibition at the chateau, taking place from March 29 to April 13. Visitors can look forward to a unique blend of floral beauty and artistic creativity. Shortly after, from April 17 to 21, the town will come alive with Easter festivities featuring traditional markets, concerts, and special castle tours that bring the region’s rich history and traditions to life.
May brings more cultural highlights, including a concert by Dan Bárta on May 23 and the festive opening of the spa season on May 31, celebrated with a lively program on Masaryk Square. In June, visitors can look forward to the Street Food Festival on June 7, offering culinary delights from around the world, and the Třeboň Theatre Festival, running from June 9 to September 11, which will showcase a diverse range of open-air performances.
Summer in Třeboň will belong to music and theatre. The Okolo Třeboně Festival, taking place from June 26 to July 6, will welcome well-known performers such as Laco Deczi, Karel Plíhal, and the group Nezmaři. From July 7 to July 11, the international classical music festival Třeboňská nocturna will offer concerts in the town’s historic venues. In mid-July, specifically on July 17 and 18, the streets of Třeboň will host the Historical Festivities of Jakub Krčín, recalling the Renaissance era.
The autumn season will offer both sporting and cultural events, including the Třeboň Marathon and Half Marathon on October 3 and the ceremonial fish harvest of the Rožmberk pond from October 16 to 18. The year will conclude with the Advent program beginning on the first Sunday of Advent, featuring Christmas markets, concerts, and traditional customs that bring a festive atmosphere to the town.
